To keep your personal data safe and prevent data theft, let's follow the tips below!
1. Avoid sharing important information on social media
Sharing happiness on social media is allowed, but you must be careful and avoid sharing posts that contain personal information such as ID photos, tickets or passports, QR codes, or other information like mother's name and phone number.
2. Do not click on suspicious links
Avoid clicking on links in messages on social media, chat apps, SMS, or emails, especially from unknown numbers or accounts.
3. Ensure you transact on a trusted e-commerce platform
Scammers can create websites and apps that closely resemble official e-commerce platforms to obtain victims' personal data. Make sure you transact on official apps or websites. Scammers usually ask for your digital identity, such as credit card CCV number, account number, or other personal information. Double-check before making transactions.
