Support Sustainable Development Goals, BCA Syariah Holds Employee Blood Donation
Jakarta, 10 December 2024 - PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) organized an employee blood donation event at the end of 2024. The activity themed "A Drop of Blood, A Million Lives" was held at the BCA Syariah Head Office, Jakarta with the target of employee participation and the community around the BCA Syariah head office.
The blood donor activity is a tangible manifestation of BCA Syariah's concern for health by supporting the availability of blood stocks at the Indonesian Red Cross. This year BCA Syariah has twice organized similar activities with a total of 171 blood bags. Along with blood donation activities, BCA Syariah also provided health checks in collaboration with Hermina Hospital Jakarta.

BCA Syariah Corporate Secretary Nadia Amalia said, "We believe that small contributions such as blood donation can have a big impact on those in need. We hope this activity can inspire employees to participate in helping others."
Blood donation provides various health benefits including reducing the risk of heart disease, lowering cholesterol and reducing the risk of cancer. The blood donor program has become a routine activity at BCA Syariah Head Office. This is also a form of corporate concern for employee health.
