Pefindo Grants idAA+ Stable Outlook Rating to BCA Syariah

Jakarta, October 30, 2023 - PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) once again received the idAA+ rating from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) valid for the period October 5, 2023 – October 1, 2024. This rating is based on Pefindo's examination results of the Unaudited Financial Statements as of June 30, 2023, and the Audited Financial Statements as of December 31, 2022.


Companies with an idAA+ rating have a very strong ability to meet their long-term financial commitments compared to other companies, and the plus sign (+) indicates that the given rating is relatively stronger and above the average category. Meanwhile, for Stable Outlook, Pefindo, as a trusted rating agency in Indonesia, assesses that BCA Syariah can demonstrate stability in the company's continuity in the future.

The rating obtained by BCA Syariah strengthens its position as a Shariah bank that can grow sustainably with a strong business. BCA Syariah Director Pranata stated, "The achievements of BCA Syariah are the result of implementing good corporate governance and a commitment to continuously innovate products and services that can meet customer needs."

As of September 2023, BCA Syariah's assets increased by 17.91% compared to the same period the previous year (Year on year/YoY), reaching IDR 13.37 trillion. BCA Syariah also recorded a pre-tax profit growth of 56.99% with a total of IDR 152.43 billion and an after-tax profit growth of the same percentage, amounting to IDR 118.90 billion.

The growth of the company's assets is also supported by the growth of financing reaching IDR 7.86 trillion, an increase of 6.18% YoY, and the acquisition of Third Party Funds (DPK) reaching IDR 10.05 trillion, an increase of 21.65% YoY. Meanwhile, the quality of financing remains well maintained with a gross Non-Performing Financing (NPF) of 1.91%. BCA Syariah's services are supported by the ease and convenience of transactions through mobile and internet banking services BCA Syariah Mobile and Klik BCA Syariah, as well as BCA's extensive network of ATMs and EDC.
