KSEI Appoints BCA Syariah as Administrator Bank for Customer Fund Accounts and Payment Bank
Jakarta, 22 July 2024 - PT. Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) was re-elected by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) as the Administrator Bank for Customer Fund Accounts (Rekening Dana Nasabah/RDN) and Payment Bank for the 2024 – 2029 period. This collaboration is part of BCA Syariah's support in supporting the development of capital market transactions in the country.
This appointment was marked by the signing of Cooperation Agreement carried out by KSEI together with 23 other Banks at the Indonesia Stock Exchange building, in Jakarta, Friday (19/07). Present to sign the cooperation agreement were the Director of BCA Syariah Pranata and the Main Director of KSEI Samsul Hidayat.

Director of BCA Syariah Pranata said "BCA Syariah welcomes the appointment as Bank Administrator for RDN and Payment Bank. BCA Syariah's participation is BCA Syariah's commitment to increasing the share of the sharia financial market in Indonesia, especially regarding the capital market. We hope that this synergy with KSEI can build public interest in sharia share transactions."
Meanwhile, KSEI President Director Samsul Hidayat said "Based on data as of June 2024, the total number of investors in the capital market has reached 13 million investors, with an average daily transaction settlement of IDR 12.3 trillion. The average investor growth has been recorded at 38.7% per year since 2020, with local individuals dominating 99% of total investors, which is the main reason for KSEI's efforts to provide convenience for investors, one of which is through the appointment of RDN Administrator Banks and Payment Banks”.
"With the support of 23 RDN Administrator Banks and Payment Banks for the 2024-2029 period, we hope that we can strengthen the foundation for building and advancing the Indonesian capital market to be even better in the future," said Samsul. The collaboration between BCA Syariah and KSEI as the RDN Administrator Bank has been going on since 2015. BCA Syariah RDN shows positive growth. Until June 2024, BCA Syariah RDN growth showed positive growth reaching 38 thousand accounts amounting to IDR 52.7 billion, growing 8.33% compared to the same period last year.
In supporting customer transactions in the capital market, BCA Syariah provides various supporting facilities such as balance information and RDN mutations which can be accessed via BCA Syariah mobile and internet banking. "Public interest in sharia stock transactions seems to be increasing. Therefore, synergy between industry players is needed to provide the best service for customers. BCA Syariah is developing its e-channel facilities so that customers can access their RDN anytime and anywhere via BCA Syariah Mobile and Klik BCA Syariah. To date, BCA Syariah has collaborated with 11 Securities Companies (PE) to provide sharia RDN facilities.
