Beware of Scam Schemes During Holidays Transactions

Stay vigilant amidst the excitement of the holidays. Recognize the fraud and scam schemes that are currently rampant through SMS, WhatsApp, email, and telephone calls claiming to be from a specific bank. Deception through phone calls and social media can lead to financial losses for you.

So, what preventive measures can be taken? Let's take a look at the following 3 tips!

1. Be cautious when receiving calls from unknown numbers

2. Don't click on messages or links from unfamiliar contacts

Digital identity can be defined as a person's representation in a network of information systems and digital technology. This digital identity usually contains passwords and numbers.

Make sure you don't provide the following confidential data to anyone:

  • OTP (One Time Password)
  • ATM PIN
  • User ID and Password for Mobile Banking and Internet Banking
  • Debit Card/Credit Card CVV

Remember, bank officials will never ask for your confidential data.
