BCA Syariah and BAZNAS Signs MoU to Facilitate Conveniece ZIS Services

Jakarta, March 12, 2025 - The National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) on the Provision and Utilization of Banking Services to provide services to facilitate the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, Sodaqoh and Other Religious Social Funds (ZIS-DSKL) for the community.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out by the Chairman of BAZNAS RI Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad MA. with President Director of BCA Syariah Yuli Melati Suryaningrum and Director of BCA Syariah Ina Widjaja, at the BAZNAS RI Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/3/2025).

With the signing of this memorandum of understanding, BAZNAS and BCA Syariah increase synergy for the collection and distribution of customer zakat, increase the accessibility of zakat services, increase literacy and inclusion, and develop the digitization of zakat payment services.

"The month of Ramadan is the best momentum for people to pay zakat, infaq, and Sodaqoh. This collaboration with BCA Syariah is part of BAZNAS' efforts to bring convenience in services to the community to fulfill ZIS payments," said Kiai Noor. 

"With the ease of access and services that we provide to the community, hopefully more customers will be moved to pay zakat. So that the contribution of zakat collected can be felt by the wider community. We also hope that this collaboration with BCA can continue and grow," said Kiai Noor. 

On this occasion, BCA Syariah also handed over customer zakat funds collected from the zakat auto-debit feature from the customer's savings profit sharing. The handover of zakat funds will be distributed to mustahik through various community empowerment programs.

President Director of Bank BCA Syariah Yuli Melati Suryaningrum also welcomed the cooperation between ZIS and BAZNAS convenience services. "The collaboration with BAZNAS has been solid and going on for a long time. As a Sharia Bank, we also support the ease of access to zakat services through our digital transaction facilities. We hope that this collaboration can further improve the ease of collecting zakat, reach more muzaki and ultimately provide wider benefits for the people," he said. 

The following is the procedure for making a ZIS transfer through BSya:

  1. Open the BSya by BCA Syariah application
  2. Select the Transfer menu
  3. Select Transfer to Rek. BCA Syariah
  4. Select the Zakat and Donation Transfer List
  5. Select an account number
  6. Enter the nominal amount
